
Obituary: Rose Giancarli Mulhall, 92, Of Naugatuck
Lorraine Rose Giancarli Mulhall, 92, handed away peacefully at her dwelling surrounded by her household on December 28, 2022.
Lorraine was the widow of Peter F. Mulhall Jr. and the daughter of the late Palma (Generali) and Domenic Giancarli. She was born in Naugatuck on December fifth, 1930. She attended Groveside Elementary Faculty, Salem Faculty and graduated from Naugatuck Excessive Faculty Class of 1948 whereas working at Rosenblatt’s Division Retailer and taking part in ladies highschool basketball. She was a 1951 graduate of Saint Mary’s Faculty of Nursing, the place she obtained her Registered Nurse licensure.
She married Peter F Mulhall on June seventh, 1952, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. Lorraine left her nursing place at Saint Mary’s to accompany her husband, who was within the Air Power stationed at March Air Power Base, Riverside, CA throughout the Korean Battle. Lorraine is survived by her 9 youngsters, Kathleen (John) Cascio of Wethersfield, Peter F. ( Kay) Mulhall III of Carmel, IN , Stephen ( Lorraine) Mulhall of Bethlehem, Christopher ( Sharon) Mulhall of Stamford , Maureen (Edward) Creem of Waterbury, Patrick Mulhall of New York Metropolis, Lori (Andrew) Bottinick of Naugatuck, Ann Margaret (Kenneth) Hanks of Naugatuck and Rachel (Edward) Pilat of Prospect, 18 grandchildren (Kyleen, Meghan, Stephen, Claire, Kelley, Eileen, Ryan, Molly, Kyle, Jonathan, Abby, Bryan, Aaron, Katie, Emily, Timothy, Sarah and Nicholas) and eight nice grandchildren (Isabella, Austin, Vaughn, Alexis, Jade, Keegan, Adelyn, Shelby, and one on the best way. She was predeceased by her husband Peter, and sisters Inez Rossi, Mary Deschino and Lydia Goodson.

A Mass of Christian Burial can be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Road, Naugatuck. Everybody attending is requested to please meet straight at church. Burial will comply with in St. James Cemetery, Cross Road, Naugatuck. Calling hours are Monday from 4 p.m. to eight p.m. on the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral House, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
